After eating the leftovers from the Tsukiji Market...Kani (crab legs) and Maguro (tuna) we were feeling energized and ready to go. Go where? Now, that's a touchy subject!
I might add...I looked in my writings of places we wanted to see in Japan. And started to cross off a few items from our "BUCKET LIST". And low and behold written beside the Tsukiji Market with a big Red Star*DON'T EAT THE SHELL FISH and in parentheses CRAB! OOPS! Sorry Mom :) After taking one for the team, Mom and I checked out of the Half-Pint Capsule.
We spent the next 2 hours wheeling and dragging all our crap from place to place to get to the train to take us to somewhere. Up and down hundreds of stairs. The multi level city beneath the city is impressive.
We took our usual Ginza (G19) metro to the (G13) JR rail transfer to the (M17) Tokyo transfer station to the Shinkansen Hikari Station. (Bullet Train). We got good with the numbers and even joked "B-I-N-G-O" on occasion, but no one found us funny.
We can't decide where to go. Nagoya is on the list! But we need "reply" time for the "craigslist" posting of an old elementary school girlfriend. Ayako Goto. Its been twenty years since I've seen her. Nearly 4 decades since I met her.
We purchased our tickets for Hiroshima. And headed for our workout equipment, our luggage. No, no maybe we don't want to go there now. What do you think? I decided to wait in line one more time since the last time we change our minds. Just minutes ago.
Why not? We have no where we have to be. A matter of fact, we have no where to go and no where to sleep tonight. "Hen-Ka" (change) I said to the man with a smile on my face. "Hai" he replied with a chuckle ;)
Next destination....Kyoto and we're sticking to it!
