After an incredible journey through Kyoto for two days we decided we really liked it and wanted to stay. Mom went down to the counter to extend another night. But we were denied. No explanation, nothing. Humm? We pondered why must this be as we snacked on our home brought coffee and their yummy breakfast croissants that we had stuff in my purse the morning before. We chuckled, "you no stay" and took another bite.
The best deal and of course the hotel recommendation was the buffet at only 6,342 YEN. What!!! We spent how much!
The display was really something!
Although, we could not depict most of the items we tried them anyways.
I must confess, all of them! Salads Galore, fruits, breads, several kinds of fish fresh and cooked, Stringy colored seaweed looked simular to a red beet dish at Sizzler. But my favorite dish was a creaming rice soup that reminded me of warm Avena in Mexico.
"You no stay" or Not it was an excellent place to stay and I would come back again and again.
I looked up Hyperdia.com for the next JR Shinkansen and once again we were on the road (train) again.

Why would you want to drag me around with you? Im old and you're young." I quickly answered. "Yes, At one time that may have been true." We embraced each other and looked into the mirror. Two Aging-Tired-Overweight-Half Decrepit-Bone Density Challenged-Postmenopausal-Women! OMG...TIME IS RUNNING OUT! :)
